Thanks VERY much for that link. I love my fi-6130 (that I use with my desktop) and my s300 (that I use with my tablet PC). Both are worth every dime and I discovered them off of this website.

I have an older Fujitsu for the Mac (S500M). I recall seeing somewhere that you can have delayed OCR in some fashion. Is this true? How?

Yes, you can have delayed OCR if you want. I typically do not OCR my documents unless they are related to a case (i.e. discovery documents were potential evidence). If you want to OCR documents that have previously been scanned you can do so from within Acrobat.

Under the Document menu you should find an option for OCR Text Recognition. (Depending on which version of Acrobat you have it may say something slightly different such as "paper capture"). In the later versions of Acrobat you can run the OCR function on a single document, or an entire folder of documents. Obviously, running the OCR function takes time -- especially if you are running it on a bunch of documents at once.

The survey was undertaken by the 35 year-old, New York City-based investor relations consultancy in response to the SEC's August 2008 guidance regarding the use of corporate web sites for information disclosure to satisfy Regulation Fair Disclosure ("Reg FD"). According to the SEC's Commission Guidance on the Use of Company Web Sites, companies may disclose information via their web sites, but to satisfy Reg FD: (i) the web site must be a recognized channel of distribution; and (ii) the companies must effectively disseminate the information to investors, which involves how the information is posted and the accessibility of the site.
